Members receive excellent advocacy and government relations services from the TnHTA professional lobbying and government relations staff, who work diligently to protect and promote the interests of the industry on both the state, and national level. Members receive regular legislative updates and are eligible to participate in TnHTA’s annual Day on the Hill and TnHTPAC events. Advocacy services are also provided to members on the local (city, county) level as needed.
The Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Education Foundation(TnHTEF) is a registered 501©(3), established in 2008 for the purpose of furthering the educational goals of the TnHTA. The TnHTEF raises money for annual post-secondary scholarships, provides funding and industry guidance for high school hospitality and culinary programs, and provides professional development and certification opportunities for the hospitality and tourism workforce.
